2.1 Contact Information

We may collect your email address, real name, or other identifiers you choose to provide when you register or communicate with us.

2.2 Images & User Content

You can upload images to create AI-generated characters. These images may include personal or sensitive information if you choose to provide it.

2.3 Chat History

We store your conversations with AI characters, which may contain personal or sensitive data if you choose to share it. These conversations are stored using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit to protect your data.

2.4 Usage Data

We may collect usage information (e.g., app analytics, crash logs) to improve our services. This may include device type, session duration, and interactions within the PLATFORM, but does not include personal data like cookies.

2.5 Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics by Google to collect anonymized usage data to understand how our app is used and to improve its performance. This data may include device type, app version, usage patterns, and crash logs. Firebase Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information unless you explicitly provide it.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and personalize our services, including generating AI characters, maintaining chat histories, and managing user profiles.
  • To respond to your inquiries or support requests.
  • To improve our PLATFORM, fix bugs, and enhance user experience.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To understand app usage trends and improve features through Firebase Analytics.
  • To monitor and resolve crashes or performance issues using Firebase Crashlytics.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share your data:

  • With trusted service providers (e.g., Firebase by Google, Microsoft Azure, MongoDB) to help us operate and maintain our services.
  • When required by law or a valid legal process.
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, and that of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. Chat histories and uploaded images are stored securely and may be deleted upon your request, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

6. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures, including encryption at rest and encryption in transit, to protect your data stored in MongoDB and on Microsoft Azure. While we strive to secure your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is entirely foolproof.

We also use Firebase to securely collect and store usage data. Firebase adheres to strict security practices, including encryption at rest and in transit, to protect your information.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

  • Access & Correction: You can request to view, update, or correct your personal data at any time.
  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt-Out (CCPA): Although we do not sell personal data, California residents can opt out of any potential sale and exercise other CCPA rights.
  • Complaints: EU residents may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. Since we operate primarily in Estonia, you may also contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (details below).

10. Advertising & User Consent

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in our app. Depending on your location and preferences, these ads may be personalized based on your interests or shown in a non-personalized manner. When you first launch the app or after clearing the app data, you will be prompted to choose whether you want to see personalized or non-personalized ads.

If you consent to personalized ads, your device information (such as your Advertising ID) may be used by Google AdMob to serve ads tailored to your interests. If you do not consent, you will continue to see ads, but they will be non-personalized. These ads are targeted using contextual information rather than any personal or behavioral data.

You can change your preference at any time by navigating to the “Settings” > “Privacy” section in our app and selecting “Revoke Consent.” This action will reset your ad settings and prompt you again to choose your ad experience. 8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our operations or in applicable laws. By continuing to use our services after updates become effective, you agree to the revised policy.
